Resource based on the edexcel 2016 spec (9-1)
I have included some exam style questions but you may need to use edexcel worksheets for this lesson.
Starter: Explain how a vacuum flask works (printout with key words on slides)
Main: Information about GPE with worked examples and questions then information about kinetic energy (as per curriculum). Peer assessment for pupils with answers on slides.
Plenary: to get pupils thinking outside the box I gave them the chance to think up questions to ask about the lesson. The harder the question the more reward points they got.
