As a GCSE examiner and teacher, I created this book with the various exam board mark schemes in mind. By following the exercises in this book, your students will be able to understand what the mark scheme is asking of them and how to apply it to achieve excellent marks in the creative/imaginative writing question on the language paper.

That’s not to say that this book wouldn’t work for other levels as well. In fact, I designed it so that it can be used for writers of all ages.
