Creative writing lesson observation practice for AQA English Language paper 1 B - creative writing

This pack includes a PowerPoint, lesson plan, student self assessment sheet, and activity sheets needed for the lesson to aid pupils in creative writing.

This is an interactive lesson, pupils will engage with a range a senses to aid/improve their creative writing skills. The lesson will focus on working in groups and having a class carousel where pupils move from sense stations filling out their senses sheets as they go along. The materials for the visual carousel are provided, but you will need to choose a sound clip/sound station, feel/touch station, scent station, and taste station for the activity. The lesson is extremely fun and engaging, all other materials are provided as well as explanations (lesson plan) on how to ensure the lesson can run smoothly. There is also an activity which includes analysing a piece of writing and engaging with pupils the techniques/effectiveness of the piece, this can provide pupils with a clear example of success criteria/framework.
