This is a full SOW based on the topic of Crime and Mystery. It has been tried and tested with a range of KS3 classes. The resource consists of twenty-four lessons and covers study of a range of texts including:
- Lamb to the Slaughter and The Landlady by Roald Dahl
- The Speckled Band by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
It also has a creative writing focus towards the end of the scheme: creating your own murder mystery text using prompts and step-by-step guidance.
