Criminology Case File Workbook

This resource is an 8 page workbook created for students studying level 3 criminology. The resource was developed for the students to work on a small project before beginning the second unit of their course. The workbook allows for students to research an offender of their choice and put together a mock case file containing case details, evidence, review of media coverage and a chance to apply knowledge of criminological theories in a stretch and challenge task.
The resource can be downloaded in a PDF format and then printed, students can either write directly onto the handout or print images and glue them on for a more rustic effect. The students have loved using this template which provides a short research project to complete inbetween topics.

In relation to the WJEC level 3 criminology course the students are completing this booklet in year 1 between unit 1 and 2 as it recaps knowledge from unit 1 such as media and allows them to prepare for unit 2 (Criminological theories).
