CVC Words Picture Rhyme Worksheets Phonics Thanksgiving

These are harvest/Thanksgiving worksheets relating to CVC words and picture rhyme. They are ideal for reviewing work on CVC word families, medial vowels and CVC pictures that rhyme. This resource includes cut and paste/glue activity, tracing over CVC words and Colour by Code which is a fun activity for early finishers.

Worksheets 1 and 2: Medial Vowels AEIOU
Two pages for each medial vowel. Students draw a line from the words which spell out the name of the CVC on pilgrim hats to the correct pictures and then trace over each word three times.

Cut and Paste Activity (Differentiated)
Students cut out the pictures and then glue them opposite to the picture that rhymes with it. There are two versions: One worksheet labels the pictures in the two tables. The other worksheet labels the pictures in the box to be cut apart and glued opposite the pictures in the two tables.

Colour by Code: Pumpkin and Pear (2 versions) – with Solution.
Students look at the colour of each crayon which represents a medial vowel to complete the picture.
