Year 8 dance scheme for learning. KS3. 8 detailed lessons with lesson focuses on: street dance basics, motif development, cultural dances (Indian and
Irish) use of a prop, creating choreography and an assessment lesson. Each lesson has differentiated tasks to stretch and challenge pupils. Each lesson also has 3 hinge questions attached to check for understanding of knowledge. Lessons have a live in 5 starter task, a warm up activity, ( I phase) a teacher demonstration/ command task, (we phase) drills and groups activities, (you phase) skill application and an exit task.
