This is a resource I used with my high level year 7s based around multiplying decimals.
The students are required to find the volume of cement needed to complete each job and then the best method of purchasing it, they are then tasked with finding a profit margin in order to calculate a quote for the customer.
This resource can be easily adapted to make use of calculators for lower ability students.
This resource makes use of multiple skills including:

Volume
Metric Conversion
Percentages.
