Defining/ Locating Biomes and Ecosystems lesson

This lesson is designed to teach students the definitions of biomes and ecosystems and to be able to locate these throughout the world. I used this lesson with a mid to high ability year 8 class. The lesson contains detailed resources which focuses on some key biomes and their key features. Each biome has a detailed information sheet with statistics on the climate, location, physical and human features. There is an emphasis on independent learning and group work.
