In this laboratory investigation students will find the densities of liquids, irregular and regular shaped objects and see how accurate they are at measuring (i.e. the percentage error of the densities of the liquids). The 2020 GCSE objectives these hands on activities are meant to include are:
• P1.4.2: Describe an experiment to determine the density of a liquid and of a regularly shaped solid and make the necessary calculation AND
• P1.4.3: Describe the determination of the density of an irregularly shaped solid by the method of displacement and make the necessary calculation
