Students can play 3 different versions of the the card game – descriptive dual, story sparks or image improv.
The cards are divided into categories – sensory details, figurative language, mood and atmosphere, descriptive settings, character descriptions, colour and texture, emotional impact and some without captions.
The game encourages students to develop their descriptive writing skills in a fun and interactive way. It can be adapted easily depending on the capabilities and levels of your particular class and students.
