A great activity, getting students to consciously craft an effective description in only 11 sentences.
3 x documents included - each one could be a lesson each, or a perfect homework activity.
Using the 11 sentence framework, they are able to think about the language choices they choose and ensure they include a variety of different discourse markers, punctuation and descriptive techniques - all needed for top level responses.
Used for AQA Language paper 1, section B - but will work well with KS3 too.
