Descriptive Writing Lesson - World War One

A lesson that can be used as a stand alone lesson to improve descriptive writing skills or you can incorporate this into a larger scheme of work involving World War One or Private Peaceful.

The lesson uses model paragraphs from private peaceful, video clips and sound bites in order to immerse students' into the shoes of a soldier while developing their critical thinking and writing skills.
