Design your own magazine cover using Canva - Graphic Design

This is a digital worksheet that I use to teach students about graphic design and creating a magazine cover. Students create their own design based on their interests. They use the free program Canva which is very intuitive and has many options. We finish the project by answering these 3 questions:

1. Name a magazine that inspired you.

2. Describe the clientele or regular purchaser of your magazine.

3. Why do you think someone might pick up this magazine?

This can be done in person with individual iPads or chromebooks, or at home.
