This Despicable Me Movie Guide (PG - 2010) challenges students to explore the themes of character change, plot progression, and relationships. Examine how Gru’s character evolves from a selfish villain to a caring father figure, and discuss the impact of the girls on his transformation. Explore how the film uses foreshadowing and montage to enhance the narrative, giving students the tools to recognize these techniques in other stories.
