An introduction to drama ideally suited for year 6-8 (or ages 10-13). It covers the basic skills we use frequently in drama - still image, body language, tension, gesture, levels, proxemics, etc.
ALL lesson plans, PowerPoints, performance assessment sheet, MTP and resources are included in the pack! You can simply download and teach.
Students explore the story of “The Emperor’s New Clothes” as well as being given opportunities to devise their own scenes based on simple ideas. Later, they work on a group project in which they devise scenes based on a book they are studying in English (I use ‘Kensuke’s Kingdom’, but you can use whichever book, movie, game etc you like - very easy to adapt!).
