Two versions of the same writing task but differentiated for lower and higher ability students.
1) Lower - students are challenged with an authentic German weather report showing the the 16 states and students must describe the weather in each state. One example is given re: word order.
2) Students respond to the same weather report but must describe the daily temperature highs and lows using key challenge language supplied.
