This was part of my lessons on asking for directions and learning shops found in town. 'les magasins' also alllowed the chidlren to revise some vocabulary items such as food they learned in previous lessons.

Nice powerpoint with 'real' French shops and the appropriate vocab. Would be nice on display as well as on the whiteboard.
