This is a great set of internet safety resources for Years 1, 2 and 3, which gives you everything you need for teaching about general internet safety and the dangers of cyberbullying.
Included:
*General internet safety lesson/assembly - covers online safety rules and a broad introduction to the topic.
*Cyberbullying lesson/assembly - what it is, how to avoid it and what to do if you see it.
*Printable workbook of 12 independent tasks to support the above lessons. Also includes a certificate for completing the 'course'.
Planning and differentiated activities are also included in both of the lessons.
These lessons and activities are probably best suited for Years 2 and 3, but can easily be used in Year 1 too.
Supports the following objective from the UK computer science curriculum:
KS1: 'Use technology safely and respectfully, keeping personal information private; identify where to go for help and support when they have concerns about content or contact on the internet or other online technologies.'
