EAL - ANIMAL FARM - memory game

Interactive resource for EAL students to familiarise themselves with the animal characters presented in Animal Farm by George Orwell. The pack containing clear and realistic animals would be useful for language interventions as a link to the English curriculum, pre-teaching vocabulary and revision. Printed and laminated will last for multiple uses and a variety of activities such as:

• memory game
• flashcards to introduce new vocabulary
• domino game
• pick from the pile and recall the name
• ‘do you have a …?’ game
• what’s missing? game

The game element makes learning fun and engaging. It takes the pressure and anxiety of students while practising speaking and listening.
