Rhymes and their content
Can be used every day
To bring learning to life
In so many ways
Once the children are familiar with the oral vocabulary being presented in the rhymes and can recite them, adding actions and untuned instruments will add to the children’s enjoyment and development of rhythm perception.
WIZZY’S WORDS RHYMES WERE DEVELOPED IN ORDER FOR CHILDREN TO BE EXPOSED TO THE KEY ORAL VOCABULARY THAT IS ASSOCIATED WITH SUCCESSFUL EARLY AND LIFELONG LEARNING
FURTHERMORE, HEARING AND RECITING RHYMES IS KEY TO DEVELOPING A SENSE OF RHYTHM PERCEPTION & RHYTHM PERCEPTION IS ANOTHER KEY INDICATOR FOR SUCCESSFUL ONGOING LEARNING
Nursery rhymes are universally validated as ideal, first, early learning resources. Use every day to promote infant development, communication, language, literacy & knowledge & understanding across all of the domains of child development & early learning in the Early Years Foundation Stage
