Early Years Storybook Amna & Amy

Amna is nervous about starting her first day at nursery… So why does this all change when she finally meets her class?

This Early Years storybook and the supporting lesson plans have been developed by Educate Against Islamophobia (EAI) to:

• support children in the Early Years Foundation Stage/Foundation Phase setting to develop an awareness of equality, diversity and respectful behaviour.
• Introduce children in the Early Years Foundation Stage/Foundation Phase to aspects of the Islamic identity.

The storybook and accompanying lesson plans have been developed in line with the English, Scottish and Welsh National Frameworks for the Early Years.
