This resource is used to reduce the time it takes to give students useful feedback on essays and extended writing tasks.
The most used written comments (such as 'use more specific evidence here') are each given a number. Areas where the students have been sucessful are also given a letter.
Instead of writing comments, the teacher uses the number and letter codes. When the codes are shared with pupils, they are able to write their own comments and give themselves feedback/targets.
