A simple poem whereby the author reminisces about her childhood games. After a cloze procedure exercise, students are encouraged to select nouns, verbs and adjectives in order to view how a simple piece of writing, with not many similes or metaphors, still contains a wide variety of vocabulary to reflect the memories of the writer. Students are encouraged to produce their own descriptive writing.
