Eco House Design - 3D Design - Design and Technology - Y4-10

This versatile project comes with a fully editable 20 slide PowerPoint presentation and 10 page printable booklet.

Students are asked to research and design an eco house. This can be done individually or in groups (eco village). The project runs for approximately 10 weeks.

There are research tasks, design tasks and CAD design tasks as well as extension tasks, the project can be completed on SketchUp, Tinkercad or both.

The project is suitable for any school doing DT or particularly 3D design. It is most suitable for KS3/4 but with the removal of a slide or 2, could be delivered from year 4 and up.
