This resource set is aimed at the IGCSE Edexcel Global Citizenship course and was developed as I could not find any suitable resources. It is also suitable for home or online learning, as answers are provided.
The lesson focuses on defintions of economic development, data analysis of an emerging country China and then a newly emerging country Nigeria.
It includes a powerpoint (with starter, lesson objective, homework and plenary), along with 2 worksheets sufficient for a one hour lesson for a higher ability. It can be split for a slower pace lower ability or EAL group, like mine. It does use the text book as well but online searches can be used as an alternative.
