Pupils will need access to the course textbook for this lesson and is ideal for an independent work lesson.
Pupils start with wordsearch to recall of characters that they are aware of before identifying the three key people/groups involved in the Salem witch trials, with a short introductory video.
Pupils then complete an independent worksheet looking at all three areas, and using the textbook for answers, with a variety of different tasks, including, biographies, comic strips, and read and interpret tasks, before completing a summary/plenary task.
Pupils then discuss the significance of each of the three people/groups.
