This is a full unit of work for the Edexcel IGCSE Civil Rights unit.
It contains information on the entire topic over 12 lessons.
The Red Scare and McCarthyism
Civil Rights Movements led by Martin Luther King, Malcolm X and Betty Freidan.
Finishing with Vietnam, Nixon and Watergate.
There is homework and differentiated tasks.
This unit covers it all and ticks all the OFSTED boxes.
I have included videos many of which are Sources (Primary Sourced) and the ‘I have a dream speech.’
There are also two YouTube Videos detailing the US government structure and a timeline of the Civil Rights movement.

This is by no means a full unit of work. The same tasks are sometimes repeated on different PowerPoints, there is a LOT of "look at this photo and ask the class what they think" and very few IGCSE-specific tasks. The 16 mark essay suggestions (from the official textbook) are there, but no 8 mark questions or 6 mark questions. The slides sometimes seems to have bits missing. Not worth the money
