Edexcel IGCSE Chemistry Topic 1

This bundle contains 12 full ready-to-go lessons for the first topic of the Chemistry IGCSE (KS4). Covers the first four sub-chapters of the textbook (states of matter; elements, compounds and mixtures; atomic structure; the periodic table).

It covers the Edexcel specification. This resource will be suitable for all GCSE teaching, with AQA or Cambridge (CIE), only requiring minor adjustments.

The package, last updated on 19th June 2024, contains 12 lessons (fully animated PowerPoint slides) written to take 60 minutes; a PDF handout to print for each and the origional handout sheets to alter should you see fit. The lesson features Assessment for Learning (AfL) built-in. There are several tried-and-tested practical lessons, with safety and instructions for students included.
