I have created editing pencils to encourage learners to self-assess and reflect on the quality of their work before handing in to the teacher. This will not only save the time of both learners and teachers, but it provides the learners with more responsibility and accountability over the quality of their work.
If the resource is laminated (which is recommended to save waste), the learners can tick off each step as they go with a dry marker and then wipe clean once they are finished.
