LESSON 5-7: This triple concludes the ‘ACL:III’ unit and focuses on Audience and consumption. This lesson focuses on:
-The ranking of the franchise with regards to popularity
-Assessment of retained Audience knowledge
-The role of women in gaming
-Fandom
-Psychographics
-The diversification of the gaming Industry
-Cultivation theory
-Moral panics, folk devils and Bandura
-‘On the Go’ gaming
-TASK 5: AUDIENCE CONSOLIDATION: You will now have 50 MINUTES to apply all of the above theories to ACL. I will provide you with an A3 sheet. You will now create a revision resource on audience as this has a high likelihood of coming up on the exam. DO NOT FORGET TO INCLUDE/CONSIDER CONTEXTS! Once this task is finished, place it in your folder, under the ‘ACL:III’ section.
NOTE: All task sheets, differentiated resources and audio/visual stimuli are included within the lesson/ Power Point.
