This PowerPoint (containing a worksheet) will allow you to teach the GCSE 9-1 specification Chemistry lesson on Electroplating (Triple Science Only). It also contains slides that provide essential background for the Core Practical involving Electrolysis of Copper Sulphate (CC10a). The Core Practical prep can be taught separately but I find it fits better alongside electroplating for Triple Science classes.
**Be aware: this lesson works best if you have access to Edexcel GCSE 9-1 Chemistry textbooks. It’s not essential; other resources can be used and all information needed for students to complete the worksheets is found in the slides. However, if textbooks are available, the worksheet can be completed as an independent learning task. **
