This resource focuses on revison of the Revolt of the Northern Earls & the three plots against Elizabeth (Ridolfi, Babington & Throckmorton). The PowerPoint gives pupils information relating to one of the plots/revolt and asks them which one(s) it relates to, before giving them the correct answer. This was very successful in getting pupils to discuss the plots and collaborate in a revision session. At the end of the session pupils will have a good overview of key aspects of each plot/revolt as well as similarities between them - useful for Q1 on the Edexcel paper (2 features)
