This sequence of 3x 1 hour lessons explores the concept endeavour. It looks at what endeavour is, the meaning and breakdown of the term including developing tier 2 and tier 3 language. A case study (Harriet Tubman) is used to develop their understanding of endeavour and finally students complete an extended piece of writing to develop their skills and conclude their overall knowledge and consider how they can apply endeavour in a range of situations.
The lessons include a fully developed sequence of powerpoint slides and a booklet which runs alongside the powerpoint where tasks can be completed.
