This is a 16 page exam revision booklet aimed at KS4 students studying the OCR Cambridge Nationals Level 1/2 award/certificate in Engineering Design (J831 / J841). The booklet covers all the topics laid out in unit R105 (Design briefs, design specifications and user requirements). This can be used for guided revision sessions in classrooms, or for self-study. The booklet includes links to additional resources, including past exam papers, and websites with additional resources for the students to make use of.
The booklet is designed to be printed with A5-sized pages. Two versions of the booklet are included in the download. One is formatted with each sheet on its own page, the other is collated for printing double-sided on A4 paper in landscape (a total of 4 A4 sheets), which can be folded and stapled into a 16-page booklet. Page numbers are included to ensure the booklet is compiled correctly.
