One lesson that introduces students to a wide variety of mechanical systems and types of motion covered by the AQA course and used in engineered mechanical products. Includes rotary, linear, oscillating and reciprocating motion, along with gears, pulley drives , cams & followers, and crank & sliders mechanical systems. Lesson includes two powerpoints - one with answers and the other without.
Students will be able to develop knowledge of this topic and embed their learning through completing the worksheet powerpoint questions.
Recommend use of Hodder’s AQA GCSE (9-1) Engineering Textbook and/or Revision Notes. Alternatively, the internet may be used.
