This lesson allows KS3 students to consider the themes, language and structure of a text set in the Yukon in the nineteenth century. The extract is approached on a step by step basis, making the resource suitable for KS3 students beginning GCSE style studies or weaker KS4 students who find Language Paper 1 texts challenging.
