A reading comprehension task which looks at the traditional folk / fairy story ‘The Krampus and the sisters’. This story is about what happens to bad children at Christmas! This lesson gives students a simplified and broken-down way of accessing a fiction text. The first part poses comprehension and language activities. The activities ensure the text is carefully read. The second part of the lesson looks at vocabulary building and writing skills. This lesson has been created specifically for Christmas themed lessons, suitable for KS3 although it can easily be modified for KS2 students
