This lesson gives students an opportunity to think about how children get to school in underdeveloped countries where they journey may be hazardous or even dangerous. There are several tasks to support students engaging with the task. The task is approached on a step by step basis, making the resource suitable for KS3 students attempting to build skills for Original Writing, or weaker KS4 students who find written activities challenging.
There are writing activities to include vocabulary building, as well as the usual exam style writing activity, with 2 writing options.
