Very poor. I have read the first three pages and this is a most disappointing set of materials. The author titles the material "The English Legal System" however he then seems oblivious to the fact England and Britain/the UK are not the same. Britain or more correctly Great Britain comprises England, Wales, and Scotland. The UK comprises the aforementioned countries and Northern Ireland. The legal system in Scotland is completely separate and different from that of England as is the system in Northern Ireland. The history of Scotland is very different from that of England given Scotland and England were not united at government level until 1707. The Romans built a wall to keep us barbarian out and Scotland retained its independent legal system post unification. I am not a nationalist but you cannot simply ignore facts. Such basic errors cast doubt on the veracity of the whole document. I do not know if the author is ignorant of the facts or simply arrogant in thinking English law covers the whole of the United Kingdom. I rather suspect the latter. The use of English is poor including inter alia the ending a sentence with “if” on page 1 and on the same page referring to access the justice when is should of course be access to justice. I am not sure whether I can bear to read any further.
