This includes step by step instructions for students to build their own model and act out the lock and key hypothesis of enzyme action using plasticine.

Can be used to introduce or reinforce learning on enzyme theory, and may be adapted to suit different classes.

I have used for KS3 students, but may also be used for lower ability KS4 students. Works especially well for teaching about digestive enzymes.

Their is also an accompanying power point which includes a rebus puzzle starter and guides students through the lesson.
