These are the slides I currently use to teach AS level Biology ENZYMES (56 slides)
It follows Cambridge syllabus (9700) but it is easily adaptable to others.
The topic is divided in 8 parts:

  1. Intro: starter activity to refresh GCSE knowledge
  2. What are enzymes?
  3. Modes of action: lock and key, induced fit
  4. Investigating an enzyme-catalysed reaction
  5. Factors affecting enzymes.
  6. Enzyme affinity; Vmax and Km
  7. Inhibitors: competitive and non-competitive.
  8. Immobilising enzymes
Some slides contain notes for extra guidance when teaching, some slides contain activities for students to practice for their exams,
Please, DM me if you have any doubt. Constructive feedback would be much appreciated.
