An interactive geogebra applet that aids modeling calculating the equation of a tangent to a circle. Use the slider to set the centre (differentiated with (0,0) or non (0,0) centres) and generate an example using the button. Please note, GCSE only ever need to consider (0,0) centres but this could be used for A level teaching too with none (0,0) centres. Show the working by clicking on the button and then click each line of working to reveal the next line.

A differentiate worksheet is also attched.

The geogebra applet is attached but if you don’t have it installed then the web link is also attached so you can use the applet in any web browser.
