Originally led as a Walking talking mock to the whole of year 11 in the hall as a model for how to answer the Literature question on A Christmas Carol but could be used as a normal lesson. Contains 12 slides including context, purgatory, marleys ghost and sin.
Provides students with examples of A01 points and context to include in an essay on redemption in ACC culiminating in them answering a GCSE question. ]
Also includes a blank and completed planning sheet - this could be used as a homework or flipped learning task or completed in the lesson.
The work my class produced after this was a considerably better, more relevant and structured essay and they are using a similar structure in planning future essays independently.
