Essential Spellings - Sounds (e.g “y” words - “i” sound)

This is a set of 18 Worksheets, each comprising around 10 sentences to complete, and each supported with a Word Search to reinforce the learning.

My approach using these resources is:

• discuss the sound with the students
• complete the worksheet independently
• learn the spellings with a partner
• write your own sentences
• complete a Word Search (for fun)
