I wrote out this test on estimating calculations with decimal numbers, printed, then got my husband to write by hand wrong answers for at least half of the questions, and gave it to my Yr7s and also to my bottom set yr10 class to correct. They LOVED being the teacher for 10 minutes, and worked very hard on it. It was a very effective plenary, and great AfL tool. You could, of course, use it as a test instead, or indeed take the word 'test' out and give it as homework, if you preferred. Please do take a minute to review this - feedback is greatly appreciated, thank you!

Great idea - I love doing a "spot the errors" exercise as a plenary. I'll be using it on the board though so I've written my own incorrect answers onto a flipchart to use. Version with incorrect answers written on available here: http://www.tes.co.uk/teaching-resource/Estimating-calculations-plenary-6410270/requestAction/add/

This is exactly what I needed for a plenary. Would have been great if you had the handwritten answers on there too :)
