A template to support students with writing an evaluation answer using F.A.R.M.E.R.S. as a checklist after they have jotted down their ideas. The template includes steps and questions to support with structuring their arguments. I tell my students that ‘I’ is banned to try and encourage a higher level of writing and avoid phrases like ‘I think’ or ‘I agree’ etc.
