MS Office Practice Task Bundle
**Bundle of Microsoft Office practice/ skill development resources, about 6 full lessons worth in total depending on delivery. **
Includes:
* two full teacher PowerPoints for demonstration of tasks ( 28 slides)
* 11 interactive student tasks, student instruction handouts, answers for all tasks
* 6 video guides for more complex tasks ( embedded in teacher PowerPoint and also included as separate files for student use) .
Designed to develop students' skills in working with MS Office.
Flexible and adaptable resources which could be used as a unit on MS Office skills or as separate tasks to incorporate into other lessons.
Suitable for independent learning / homework / remote learning.
Created for Key Stage 3 but would also suit other ages.
**Microsoft Word Tasks :** Interactive tasks to practice/ develop knowledge of the Word Ribbon and Tabs / picture and other tools, includes:
* drag and drop matching tasks for Word Icons & Ribbon
* two creative tasks using picture format tools to learn about formatting and changing images in Word using Picture Styles / picture effects/ borders etc
* a creative document formatting task - changing page colour/ formatting table and text and fonts/ inserting and formatting images/layout options tool/picture format tools/ removing background from images
*Note: Two tasks ask students to transfer images from Word to PowerPoint handout guide once completed- this is to demonstrate the Picture Format capabilities in Word and is deliberate. *
**Excel Tasks :** Set of four interactive PowerPoint based tasks ( approx 2 – 3 lessons) to practice Excel basics ( including basic formulae) and knowledge of the Ribbon.
**PowerPoint Tasks** Two multiple choice tasks practicing knowledge of the ribbon.
