This resource perfectly complements Expo 1. The starter is a thinking skills exercise where pupils complete the sequence using familiar high frequency vocabulary. There is also a tarsia puzzle to review house and home. Pupils then use a speaking frame to revise speaking about their house.
Pupils then learn out to say what they do in the evening using the pronoun “on”. They have excellent visual support in the slides to introduce the vocabulary. Negatives are also introduced. There is a modelled example for pupils to complete a diary of what they do in the evening and in what room. There is a game to practice recall of the key phrases. There is a summary slide of all 8 activities that are introduced in the PPT that can be used as a plenary for pupils to mime the activities and their partner to guess what they are doing.
