A EYFS tracking book using the Early Years Learning outcomes. Divided into the age and stages (September 2014 EYFS Update) - EYFS Early Years Outcome Tracking Document.

This document has been created to have all the statements for each age and stage across all the areas of learning together. This makes it easy to see what area a child is working in and makes identifying any gaps in learning a smoother process.

You can highlight when a child has achieved a statement, using a key of your own choosing, we currently highlight in different colours depending on where the information came from i.e. red - key worker judgement, blue - information from parents, green - observation. Other settings I visit use different colours for different terms.

There is also an individual tracking sheet on the second page, this lets practitioners note down what age band a child is working in. This makes seeing progress a simple task and helps in the collection on data.
